Inserts :: Contact advertising department for information on rates for furnished inserts meeting publishers exact mechanical specifications, and not requiring trimming or folding.
Mechanical Requirements :: Follow normal standards for offset web printing.
Film :: Right-reading, emulsion-side down film negatives. Film cannot exceed .004". Film must be prepared to publication size of ad space ordered.
Line Screen :: 133 lpi (min) or 150 lpi (max).
Color Ads :: Color film negatives must identify the color and registration marks in addition to bleed, trim, and center marks. All color ads must include a Matchprint proof made from the film being submitted. Material being submitted in any other form may result in color alterations for which the publisher is not responsible.
Black & White Ads :: Black and White film negatives must include a velox or silverprint proof and indicate bleed and trim marks.
Custom Design :: Customized design services can be provided at the customer's request. Contact our advertising department for information on rates.
Covers :: Cover 2 or Cover 3: Earned 4 color rate + $1,000.
Cover 4: Earned 4 color rate + $1,500.
Additional Colors :: Standard Color, Match Color (PMS color) or Metallic Color (silver/gold). Contact advertising department for rates.
